This policy explains what personal data Silverline Technologies Limited collects through this website, why it is collected, how long it is kept and what rights you have in respect of it. It is issued under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated: September 2026 IT Act 2000 DPDP Act 2023

1. Who we are

Silverline Technologies Limited ("the Company", "we", "us") is a public limited company incorporated in India and listed on BSE Limited. Our registered office address, corporate identification number and the contact details of our Company Secretary & Compliance Officer appear in the footer of every page of this website. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Company is the data fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through this website.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data collected through this website, including its forms and any e-mail correspondence that follows from a form submission. It does not apply to data processed by the Company in the course of client engagements, which is governed by the relevant contract, nor to data held by our Registrar and Share Transfer Agent or by the depositories, each of which acts under its own privacy policy and SEBI's regulatory framework.

3. Personal data we collect

Data you give us. When you submit a form on this website (contact, demo request, partner, careers or investor query) we collect the details you enter: your name, e-mail address, telephone number, organisation, the content of your message and, for investor queries, any folio number or DP ID and Client ID you choose to include. We also record which page the form was submitted from and the time of submission.

Data collected automatically. Our web server records standard access logs: the IP address of the requesting device, the pages requested, the time of the request, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. These logs are used for security monitoring, capacity planning and diagnosing faults.

Data we do not collect. We do not ask for, and you should not submit through this website, passwords, one-time passcodes, full bank account details, card numbers or copies of identity documents. Requests that require such documents are handled by the registrar on the forms prescribed by SEBI.

4. Purposes and lawful basis

We process personal data for the following purposes, in each case on the basis of your consent given when you submit a form, or for a legitimate use recognised under section 7 of the DPDP Act:

  • to respond to the enquiry, request or query you have submitted;
  • to follow up a demo, partnership or engagement request with the relevant team;
  • to consider an application for employment where you have submitted one;
  • to address investor queries and to maintain the record of investor correspondence that the Company is required to keep under the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015;
  • to keep this website secure and to detect and prevent abuse;
  • to comply with a legal obligation, or an order of a court, tribunal or regulator.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the data collected through this website for advertising or profiling.

5. Cookies and third-party services

This website uses only the browser storage strictly necessary for it to function; we do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated and any non-essential cookie will be set only with your consent.

The typefaces used on this website are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, your IP address and browser details are disclosed to Google LLC under its own privacy policy. Links to BSE, SEBI, the depositories and other external websites take you to sites we do not control; their privacy practices are their own.

6. Sharing and transfers

Personal data submitted through this website is accessible to the Company's employees who need it to deal with your request, and to the service providers that host this website and its e-mail, each of whom is bound by contract to process the data only on our instructions. We may disclose personal data where required by law, or to a regulator, exchange or court. Where data is stored on infrastructure located outside India, we do so only to the extent permitted under the DPDP Act and the rules made under it.

7. Retention

We keep form submissions for as long as necessary to deal with the request and, for commercial enquiries, for a reasonable period thereafter, normally not exceeding twenty-four months from the last contact unless a business relationship follows. Investor correspondence is retained for the period required under the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable SEBI regulations. Server access logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised. When personal data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected and no legal retention obligation applies, we erase it.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as contemplated under section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, including transport encryption for this website, access controls on stored submissions, and periodic review of the systems that hold personal data. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been processed; to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated; to have your data erased where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and no legal retention obligation applies; to withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future; to nominate a person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and to have a grievance heard. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address in section 11. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

This website is directed at businesses, investors and prospective employees. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of eighteen. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Grievance officer and contact

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and section 8(10) of the DPDP Act, any grievance, request or question relating to this policy or to the handling of your personal data may be addressed to the Company's Grievance Officer by e-mail at [email protected] or by post to the registered office address shown in the footer of this website. We aim to acknowledge every grievance promptly and to resolve it within the period prescribed by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted and operational.

We may revise this policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be indicated on this page; continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
