Under sections 124 and 125 of the Companies Act, 2013, dividends that remain unpaid or unclaimed for seven years, and the shares on which such dividends were unclaimed, are transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Nomination facility. Shareholders may nominate a person to whom their shares shall vest in the event of death, under section 72 of the Companies Act, 2013. Holders of physical shares may submit Form SH-13 to the registrar; holders of dematerialised shares should register the nomination with their depository participant.
